This version of the Trekker is a limited edition collaboration between Raven Watches and Worn & Wound. For the collaboration, the dial was modified to have a more tactical, modern feel, with gray accents, crosshairs and a stripped down Raven logo. Following suit, the case finishing was altered to feature black DLC coatings on the bezel edge and crown. This adds a more modern and aggressive overall attitude to the already rugged design. Lastly, in addition to the standard bracelet, the Trekker LE comes with a custom American-made Model 2 Premium leather strap by Worn & Wound, made out of a Camel-colored rough out suede. We've also thrown in a Key Chain Spring Bar Tool. Only 30 of these will be produced.
The Trekker effortlessly mixes together field with dive watch styles, and vintage with modern aesthetics into a supremely tough, yet wearable package. The 40mm case speaks to mid-century military dive watches, though features a thoroughly modern 300M water resistance. The crystal too at a glance might seem like the acrylic “top-hats” of days past, but is in fact a box sapphire with AR coating. The dial then goes a different direction, with a tactical, field layout and a decidedly more modern typeface and coloration. It all comes together to create an understated, everyday toolwatch that can withstand the elements.
Inside of the Trekker is the ETA 2824-2 movement, a Swiss-made automatic workhorse movement. This caliber features 25-jewels, 38-hour power reserve, date (if shown) and hacking seconds (the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out). The 2824 is a tried and true movement, thus making it a reliable favorite.
